I'M NEW
We’re so pleased that you’re thinking about visiting us at PBC. Whether you’re new to the area and looking for a church to call home or exploring the Christian faith, we’d love to meet you.
We know that visiting a church for the first time can be daunting, so here is everything you need to know to make your visit as easy as possible.
VISITING US ON A SUNDAY
We meet every Sunday at 10.30 am (doors open at 10am)
Our Sunday services are an opportunity for us to join together in worship, to connect with God and each other, to hear bible-based teaching and to pray for one another.
You can find us at 22 Park Lane, Poynton, Cheshire, SK12 1RE
The church building is situated on Park Lane, Poynton. There is a free car park next to the church. If there are no free spaces, there is plenty of free car park space at the Civic Centre Car Park next to Waitrose.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Our morning service starts at 10.30am and usually last about an hour and a half. We like to keep it informal, so there is no dress code, just come as you are.
We usually start with a time of worship for about 20 minutes, followed by a short welcome and highlights of what's coming up. All the words are on the screens so you can sing along if you would like to but there is no pressure to join in. We then have a talk based on The Bible and personal experiences of following Jesus, which are relevant to everyday life. At the end of the service, there is always an opportunity to be prayed for.
It's important to us that we make our Sunday church services accessible and inclusive to everyone. The building is easily accessible and we have a loop system in place for those who require it.

KIDS' CHURCH AND ENERGY YOUTH
Each Sunday after 20 minutes, the Kids and Youth leave the main meeting to join their own groups where they will have age appropriate games, worship and prayer.
We have a Creche for babies, Kids' Church for ages 2 - 11 and Energy Youth for ages 11 - 18.
All our volunteers are DBS checked and operate within our PBC Safeguarding Policy. If you would like a copy of this then please contact us at pbc-admin@pbc.org.uk
To find out more about our young peoples work, please visit our KIDS' CHURCH and ENERGY YOUTH pages.

AFTER THE SERVICE

After each service we serve free tea, coffee and snacks, so make sure you stick around for a chat.
If you have any problems or questions, we have a team of stewards who wear badges and are available to assist where possible.
EXTRA INFO
OFFERING
Each service we have an offering where a bag is passed round for those who would like to give to the work of the church. No one is under any obligation to give and you are welcome to let the bag pass by. To find out more, please visit our GIVING page.
COMMUNION
Once a month we take communion as part of our service. This is where we share bread and wine as a reminder of when Jesus sacrificed His own life for us. This isn't compulsory and you are free to let the bread and wine pass by.
