Alpha courses continue to run
twice a year in our church. The
spring/summer term was a smaller course than is usual, but that made no
difference to the fact that people experienced the love of Jesus through
Alpha.
This winter term has seen God
moving in the hearts of men as the current course is an all male group.
Alpha still answers the
questions of life that so many people continue to ask and we have seen
lives changed as people progress through the course.
The groups are held on a
Thursday evening at PBC, in an informal and relaxed atmosphere with lots
of cake (thank you to those who generously give these), coffee and chat.
These times give the leaders the opportunity to build ongoing
friendships based on trust, honesty and acceptance.
Please pray for Alpha and for
all of us at PBC that we may see a strong commitment to reach out to
others.
