Welcome to Poynton Baptist Church website.
. We are a lively, friendly, informal, busy, outward-looking Baptist church with around 300 members situated in the village of Poynton, located half way between Macclesfield and Stockport, on the edge of the beautiful Peak District National Park.

Our style is very informal. We use a mixture of worship material ranging from traditional hymns to contemporary worship songs all of which appear on a giant screen. We try to bring together an emphasis on both Word and Spirit. Sunday morning worship commences at 10:30am, and Sunday evening worship commences at 6:30pm. All are most welcome to join us.

We welcome all ages and have numerous programmes geared up to allow full participation of our members and regular attenders. We warmly welcome visitors, and you will find that our coffee is one of the best!
Artistic creations produced by the 'Ambience Team' to aid worship.
We have a crèche, Sunday Club (infant and primary ages), Club Energy for the youth ages. Periodically we have a multimedia presentation which is ideal to invite your friends.
In the week, there is Playaway for Parents/Carers & Toddlers, Small Groups in Homes, Keep Fit, Parenting Courses, three Cafes and Alpha Courses, Golf Society, Football etc. to just mention a few items.
