The past year has seen different events where the Ambience Team have worked together using flower arranging/banner making as part of our worship to God. The team members at present are Mary, Carol, Barbara, Sue, Rita, Julie plus Joy, Ian and Chris. We would love to have a few more members to work along side us, approximately once every 6-8 weeks for the flowers. You would be most welcome. |

The Ambience Team created this wonderful back drop on Palm Sunday (4th April 2004) As
a Team we have also taken some risks this year by branching out, creating
backdrops on the platform wall in order to aid worship and to provoke
thought and meditation. Christmas
last year saw a dramatic backdrop which depicted Jesus’ manger linked to
a crown with coloured flags. This scene was powerful as it was full of
symbolic significance. From this there has been much positive feedback. We
will be putting the Christmas decorations up on the 4th
December 04 and if anyone would like to join us for tea and mince pies and
to assist us please let me know. |

| At
the time of the tragic death of Steve, the team and many volunteers helped arrange the flowers and lovingly
care for them over the 2 weeks the Church was open.
It was a privilege to help create a safe and peaceful environment
where God’s presence was so powerfully felt.
There are many floral tributes.
The church was full to overflowing at all the services |
