7:30pm WOMEN’S WORLD DAY OF PRAYER The Women’s World Day of Prayer will be held this year at Poynton Christian Fellowship. Jean McLaren will be speaking and our own Clara Pears leading the worship. Also, despite the title, this is not a women alone event, men will be very welcome to join in.

8pm ACTION UNIT CI3’ Quiz Night and Hot Pot Supper is to be held at Grove Lane Baptist Church. The proceeds of which will be divided between CasaPlus and the school costs at the Kolweny School in Kenya. Ticket costs: Adults £5.00, children £3.00 and for a family of four £15.00. Bring your own wine etc., but soft drinks will be available. There will also be a home baked stall. For further information and your tickets, contact the Church Office

If you are visiting PBC, it is worth noting that car parking in Poynton can be difficult at times. You can park  free at the Civic Hall car park further up Park Lane - see map.
