Unfortunately PBC lost 2-1 in an exciting and close match. There were opportunities for more goals for both sides, particularly for PBC, who were unlucky not to have at least equalised. It was a well fought game, played in the right spirit and enjoyed by all, even if there are many aching bodies now. At the end of the match Joyce Clerc awarded the Donald Clerc Memorial cup to the winning captain for Hazel Grove. Hazel Grove are requested to look after the cup for one more year until PBC come back to reclaim it.
