TEARFUND
SUNDAY - 6th March “MAKE POVERTY HISTORY” “Make
Poverty History” is a massive, concerted attack on world poverty by
over 60 UK development agencies and non-governmental organisations
(including Tearfund) in a year when extraordinary and radical progress is
finally possible” MIST
will be presenting a multi-media presentation on this issue in the morning
service which will include a video, drama, first-hand reports etc. What
can you do to help make poverty history? Fairtrade fortnight (1-13th
March) coincides with Tearfund Sunday and will be included in the
presentation. See the display of Fairtrade items available in your local
supermarket! How
can PBC make a difference? A total of £1334 was given this Sunday for TearFund’s ongoing development projects in Africa, Asia and South & Central America. |
